Casio has expanded its popular label G-SHOCK with three new GM-B2100 watches with... an all-metal case!
The GA-2100, a reinterpretation of the very first G-SHOCK ever (DW-5000C), entered the market in 2019. Immediately, the streamlined design of this 2100 series was hugely popular, especially among younger consumers. That distinctive shape is now being taken to the next level. Indeed, the new GM-B2100 watches feature stainless steel as the outer material of the case, strap and bezel.
Shockproof
Of course, so are still as resistant to shocks as Other G-SHOCK colleague's. The familiar shock-resistant structure is used in the G-SHOCK GM-B2100 watches, including for the screw cover of the case, strap and bezel. There are also buffer components made of fine resin for reinforcement between the bezel and case.
Chic
To accentuate the fine quality of the metal, the components have been treated with different finishes: the bezel has a circular brushed finish, the strap a linear one, and the chamfer of the bezel, the buttons and the case back are polished to a glossy finish.
Depth
The dial is composed of multiple parts to create depth and dimension. There is a choice of the GM-B2100D with stainless steel luster, the chic GM-B2100BD with black ion-plating and the GM-B2100GD with bright but also warm-looking rose gold.
Solar
For all watches, they feature the Tough Solar charging system, eliminating the need for regular battery replacement. Moreover, they are equipped with Smartphone Link connectivity via Bluetooth for accurate time display and easy setting of alarms, countdown timer, world time and other functions via a smartphone app.
