The looks of a classic, hand-beaten aluminium panels and a new frame. They continue the Morgan tradition in the new Plus Four. Under that aluminium platform, you'll find a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder. The engine is made by BMW and produces 258 hp. With a 0-100 time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 238 km/h. The Plus Four remains otherwise recognisable, it is mainly under the skin where things have been nicely taken care of. For instance, the steel ladder frame is gone, making way for a bonded aluminium platform, which we also see in the Morgan Plus Six. There is also, for the first time, a choice of an eight-speed automatic with paddle shifters or a six-speed manual transmission. And we get a bit more luxury as standard with, also nice, a bit more luggage space. Furthermore, LED front and rear lights and ABS. A little less spartan, but thankfully without compromising on that characteristic looks...
