Anyone thinking of mechanical watches from Japan thinks first of all of Seiko. But there is another major Japanese brand, which, despite having been around for 70 years, is not yet very well known in the Netherlands. A brand that stands for excellent quality coupled with a very friendly price tag. Its name: Orient.<\/strong>Looking for a mechanical watch for no more than a few hundred euros? Then check out these Orient collection<\/strong><\/a> once. You will find just about every style imaginable at great prices. For those who have a bit more to spend and love visible mechanics, Orient Star is an interesting collection. Indeed, a number of models were recently added to the popular Mechanical Moon Phase Classic Collection<\/strong><\/a>, equipped with mechanical moon phase and one of the brand's most iconic designs.<\/p>\n

The models have a new, made in-house<\/strong> movement with a 50-hour power reserve based on calibre 46-F7, an evolution of the calibre 46 series launched back in 1971. The new moon phase watches have a half-skeleton diaphragm at 9 o'clock, a power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock and a moon phase with date display at 6 o'clock. The detailed finish and decorated movement can be admired through the sapphire-glass case back.<\/p>\n
