Germany's Junghans recently launched a set of beautifully minimalist watches to mark its collaboration with the legendary designer Max Bill<\/a> commemorate. Choose your favourite. Or just take all three...\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 1961, five years after the start of the collaboration, Junghans' first line of mechanical watches designed by Bauhaus artist Max Bill appeared. To this day, the ticking design icons bearing his name are still in production. But exactly 60 years after the first models, Junghans thinks it is time for a celebration, in the form of a genuine collectors' set: limited to just 1,060 pieces worldwide, appropriately named max bill Edition Set 60, of course, and consisting of three different watches.<\/p>\n

Three flavours<\/h2>\n

Each of the three watches - the max bill Automatic, the max bill MEGA Kleine Sekunde and the max bill Regulator - comes in its own individual case and is collectively housed in a special Edition box, featuring a portrait of Max Bill.<\/p>\n

\"\"The uniform colour scheme of anthracite, beige grey and orange is reflected throughout the set: the 12-hour index, luminous substance on the hands and the inner lining of the strap are in vibrant orange, while dark anthracite accentuates the distinct style of the polished stainless steel case. A calf leather strap in warm beige grey harmonises with the contrasting presentation, bringing the colours together to create a balanced whole. Note further subtle details, such as the traditional luminous double dots at 12 o'clock, now designed as the number 60. Moreover, a special Edition engraving has been applied to the back of the case for each Edition model.<\/p>\n
