According to frozen pizza maker Dr Oetker, we were in need of some relaxing me-time, and so they sent us a set of new Supremes to try out...<\/strong><\/p>

In a world where productivity is often central, taking time for yourself seems almost taboo. Although more than 70% of Dutch people aged between 18 and 39 schedule an evening of me-time every week, a whopping 60% feel guilty about it. At least, this is according to a survey by the aforementioned pizza maker. Social pressure and the feeling of always having to be 'useful' make relaxing difficult. Yet me-time is anything but a luxury; it is a must for your mental and physical health.<\/p>

Why do we feel guilty about relaxation?<\/strong><\/h2>

An evening of doing nothing seems wonderful, but for many people it remains just a good intention. Especially young adults (16-29 years old) find it difficult to take time for themselves, it turns out: 65.2% struggle with a healthy balance between work or study and private life. This percentage is lower among thirty-somethings (42.9%), but they too feel the pressure to be constantly productive. Interestingly, social obligations play a major role. The fear of being seen as disinterested or lazy prevents many from truly relaxing.<\/p>

The perfect me-time evening<\/strong><\/h2>

What does the ideal me-time evening look like? According to the survey, most people like to plop down on the sofa with their favourite series or film. A hot bath, a good book or just doing nothing at all with a cup of tea are also popular options. What is important is a relaxed atmosphere and a tidy environment. And what should definitely not be missing during such a moment for yourself? Pizza! No less than 4 in 5 Dutch people choose this ultimate comfort food during an evening of me-time.<\/p>

And then there is the new Suprema<\/strong><\/h2>

Dr Oetker<\/a> responds to the need for rest and relaxation with its new Suprema pizza. This premium pizza, inspired by Neapolitan pizza art, is prepared with the finest ingredients and undergoes a unique 3-phase fermentation process lasting more than 24 hours. The result? An aromatic flavour, airy crust and extra crispy base. The generous pizza is then enriched with a tomato passata of sun-ripened tomatoes from the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna, for a rich flavour experience. The Suprema is available in three varieties: Salame Romano, Cinque Formaggi and Calabrese & 'Nduja Tipo.<\/p>

What did we think?<\/strong><\/h2>

In itself, a fine pizza and definitely much better than what you normally pull out of the freezer compartment. Fans of the famous New York Pizza style, in particular, will probably be pleased by the nicely billowing and airy outer crust. A little too much of a good thing as far as we are concerned, but certainly not wrong for those who love it. Furthermore, the base is nicely crispy, the tomato passata is indeed tasty and the other ingredients come across as surprisingly fresh. Can it compete with the craft of the pizzeria around the corner? Absolutely not. Nothing beats that hand-turned thin base, sparsely topped with nice fresh ingredients, baked in a wood-fired oven in a few minutes, drizzled with a few drops of spicy olive oil.<\/p>

But for those who always want to have a good pizza in stock for when you don't want to do anything at all, not even go to that pizzeria, and just want to curl up in front of the TV... Then the Suprema is a very good option.
