Jura is a remote Scottish island located off the west coast of Scotland<\/a>. With just one road, one pub, one whisky distillery and 212 people, Jura is as beautiful as it is remote. The Jura distillery was founded in 1810 and reborn in 1963 to revitalise the community. Its whiskies have won several awards and have been described by connoisseurs as unique and 'one of a kind'. A spirit with character that is shaped not only by the atmosphere of the special island and a small community of 212 islanders, but also by the maturation process and the diverse enrichment casks in which bourbon, rum, sherry or red wine were previously made.<\/p>

The Jura Signature Collection consists of:<\/h2>

Jura Bourbon Cask:<\/strong> Vanilla, caramel, cinnamon and cocoa.
Golden, fruity, an aroma of vanilla and coconut, a hint of apricot and creamy toffee, a touch of pear, cinnamon and cocoa. That best describes this whisky from the Signature Collection.

Jura Rum Cask:<\/strong> Undertones of spiced tropical notes. This particular Jura Rum Cask Finish is smooth yet lively in flavour. Think vanilla, caramel and coconut complemented by tropical notes due to maturation in Caribbean rum casks. A single malt that is smooth, sweet and at the same time slightly smoky in character.\u00a0<\/p>

Jura 10 Year Old:<\/strong> mildly spiced all-rounder with sweet undertones. Matured for as much as 10 years, this whisky is an exceptional Island single malt Scotch Whisky. The Jura 10 Year Old combines peated and unpeated malt with a finish in Oloroso Sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. This results in a sweet, smooth whisky with aromas of rich dark chocolate and vanilla cream.<\/p>

Jura 12 Year Old:<\/strong> warm notes of spices, banana and citrus
This whisky is Jura at its most powerful. Bourbon cask maturation followed by enrichment in aged oloroso sherry casks create a honey sweetness that delivers warm notes of spice, banana and citrus.\"\"<\/p>
