In fact, the quatix 7 series fully integrates with Garmin chartplotters and other onboard marine electronics. And once paired, autopilots and, for example, Fusion entertainment systems can be controlled from the wrist and important information about sailing conditions, such as water depth, engine speed, wind and other data, can be streamed directly to your wrist. This is convenient, because as captain cum helmsman you do not find yourself behind the chartplotter screen full-time.<\/p>

\"\"After all, there are always some manoeuvres to be made during, for instance, hauling in a sail, and sometimes the weather is so calm, the course on auto-pilot so stable, that you just want to relax on the sunny foredeck. Great to have all essential data continuously to hand.<\/p>

Or how about a good night's sleep: the 'scratching anchor alarm' instantly alerts you when you are in a nice bay somewhere for the night and the anchor starts scratching. And also nice: tide alerts. These keep you continuously informed of ebb and flow with integrated tide data and warnings.<\/p>

The Garmin quatix 7 is more than just a sailing watch<\/h2>

Besides being ideal watches for water sports enthusiasts, the quatix 7 series is of course a very complete smartwatch that can be worn 24\/7. Stylish, sporty, with traditional button controls and a responsive touchscreen, equipped with everything you would expect from a smartwatch and more. Think all the essential connectivity functions and health monitoring data, preloaded activity profiles, such as running, cycling, golfing, hiking, rowing etc., contactless payment via Garmin Pay, music via various streaming services and notifications of incoming messages, phone calls, emails and more, directly on the smartwatch.\u00a0<\/p>

Available as quatix 7, quatix 7 Sapphire and quatix 7X Solar. The standard model (battery life of up to 16 days in smartwatch mode) has a stainless steel casing and features a strong Corning Gorilla Glass lens. The Sapphire model (up to 18 days of battery life) features AMOLED screen and a DLC-coated titanium housing and sapphire lens. The Solar model also has a DLC-coated titanium housing, but also features a Power Sapphire lens, allowing it to charge on solar power.
