Not infrequently, such a crown detracts from wearing comfort, as it presses against your wrist when you bend your hand. And, of course, by the material the case is made of: beautifully brushed and polished <em>Grade 5<\/em> titanium (a titanium-aluminium-vanadium alloy). The hands, numerals, stars and winged hourglass have a subdued gold tone, for a nice balance between colours and materials. A balance enhanced by the absence of a date window, which further accentuates the watch's aeronautical symmetry. All these properties ensure that the models in this collection could be classified chronometers (certified by the COSC, Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute).
