If you want to collect legendary aeroplanes, you need a big garage, so you prefer watches based on those same planes. That is a bit easier to store, but also ensures daily wearing pleasure. <\/strong><\/p>

Breitling launches the Super AVI, a new series of watches commemorating aviation history. All designs are based on the original pilot's watch 1953 Co-Pilot Ref. 765 AVI, but additionally on four legendary aircraft.<\/p>

The Vought F4U Corsair<\/strong><\/a>, with a blue dial, chronograph counters that are tone on tone, design features borrowed from the typical emblem of these naval aircraft.<\/p>

The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk<\/strong><\/a>, as a watch with an army green dial, white contrasting chronograph counters and red accents, recalling the famous shark's beak mural on the nose of the eponymous aircraft.\u00a0<\/p>

And finally the Havilland Mosquito<\/strong><\/a>, nicknamed the Wooden Wonder: a combination of a polished and satinised black ceramic bezel and a black dial with white contrasting chronograph counters. The red and orange elements recall the markings also seen on the versatile aircraft.<\/p>
