From this month, Laco's popular 'Munich' pilot chronograph will also be available in the Laco Erbstück-look. But be quick, as this is a limited edition of only 30 pieces.
The classic-looking pilot's watch is inspired by the long history of this German brand, known among other things for producing pilot and observation watches in the 1940s. And while the look is true to those legendary models, the technology behind it is of course up-to-date.
Hand-aged
But what matters in the first place, of course, is that striking 'old' look. You can think what you like about that. One buys his jeans with holes because that gives a lived-in look, as if you have been through a lot. The other buys his jeans without holes, wears them long enough and lives his adventures, until holes fall in them by themselves. There is something to be said for both. So the same goes for this watch.
Modern functionality combined with old looks
We think it succeeds! Because thanks to the special manual surface treatment, developed and perfected by Laco, this model brings the authentic vintage flair to the wrist. This special ageing process also makes each of only 30 watches unique, as none of them are exactly the same. From the case to the dial with hands to the leather strap; all parts are 'aged' by hand, with great attention to detail. This gives each watch an individual and authentic look of days gone by.

Maximum function & minimalist design
The instrument-look black dial shows the day of the week and the date at 3 o'clock, in addition to subdials for timekeeping. Thanks to the discreetly placed totalisers and the thermally blued, but also Superluminova-covered hands, the look of a classic pilot's watch is beautifully preserved. Inside this 'heirloom' ticking chronograph calibre Laco 50 with automatic winding, which is based on the solid Swiss ETA calibre Valjoux 7750. Eye-catching is the steel case with a diameter of 42 mm and its extravagant patina. The closed back features the engraving of historical observation watches and also the unique number. The high-quality leather strap with pilot-style rivets also harks back to the roots of the great pilot watches of yesteryear. The Laco Munich Erbstück costs € 2990
