OK, you want your watch to keep ticking, even when you don't wear it for a few days. And you also want no one to dare touch it, without your explicit permission.
Then how about a poisonous snake, as a treasure guard. This stunning watchwinder by Swiss Kubik is inspired by the ancient Greek mythology of Medusa, as immortalised in Caravaggio's famous painting. This painting shows the head of Medusa, a monster with the face of a woman cut off by Perseus, who instead of her own hair had countless poisonous snakes growing out of her head. Moreover, legend has it that Medusa had the power to turn anyone who looked at her into stone. Reason enough to leave this watch alone, then. The Snakes watchwinder is entirely handmade by Adatte Design SA, an industrial design studio based in Lausanne, Switzerland and the internal technology is of the very highest standard and operates silently. www.hourlux.com
