The range of electric scooters and mopeds is growing rapidly. More brands, more versions. And this is definitely one of the nicest models we have come across so far: the Brekr Model B, conceived and built in the Dutch Achterhoek region. The latter is also where the origin of that strange name lies: brekken is Achterhoek for having fun.

And a 'brekr' is an epicurean, someone who doesn't put too much weight on things and also has a great love for motorised wheels. Even if they are electrically driven. You can certainly have fun on this bike. With two batteries on board, even up to 160 kilometres. This is partly due to the aluminium frame, which makes the Brekr ten to thirty kilograms lighter than an average scooter and therefore boasts a longer range.
