MONSTROUSLY BEAUTIFUL MINOTTO
Beautiful cars come from Italy. Or sometimes from England, Germany. And very occasionally from Japan. But from the Netherlands? Um... yes! And you can soon admire the proof at the International Amsterdam Motor Show. That's where this unique Minotto Barchetta will be shining. It is the first time that the Minotto Barchetta, with its latest updates, will be on display for the general public. Connoisseurs have previously compared the car, said to be Dutch-made, to the iconic Ferrari F40 for its stunning looks and raw, pure driving characteristics. The Minotto (sounds Italian, but simply stands for ' his car') is the brainchild of Dutchman Hans Teijgeler. Using modern materials such as carbon fibre and aluminium, the car weighs about 980 kilos and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds, thanks to a 6-litre V12 from Ferrari on board. It took Teijgeler some eight years to perfect the concept, but then you have a car to make your mouth water. Check also: https://www.louwmanexclusive.nl/brand/minotto/
