The Tangente is a classic. At least by Nomos standards, because, of course, this German brand has only been around since 1990. And now it is cooler than ever, because for the first time it is available in a cool shade of platinum grey.
Ornate Arabic numerals, a slim bezel, a coin-shaped steel case -or a flat cylinder with straight sides- and all topped off with smooth sapphire crystal. This understated combination of style elements makes the Tangente neomatik Nomos Glashütte's most successful watch and undeniably one of the most famous wristwatches made in Germany today.
Perfectly legible
The dial is rhodium-plated, with the rhodium providing the striking grey hue. Also rhodium-plated, needle-thin hands accentuate the harmonious design and are perfectly visible. As is regularly the case with Nomos Glashütte, this design is also gender-neutral, with the only difference being the size: the Tangente neomatik in platinum grey is available in diameters of 35 and 39 mm.
Nomos Tangente with in-house movement
Inside, the in-house automatic calibre DUW 3001 is ticking, visible through the sapphire-glass back, so you can see the bidirectional winding rotor and decorated movement at work.
For the first time, the Tangente neomatik is now also available with a steel back. This makes it more affordable, but also offers space for personal inscriptions.
Cost in 39 mm with steel back: €2580. nomos-glashuette.com
