The word Chronoscope is a combination of two Greek words, meaning Time and Looking. Observing time, and measuring time lapse, is therefore exactly what this Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope does for you.
Besides the normal time display, you have access to a chronograph (to measure a time interval), a tachymeter (to measure your speed over a certain distance), a telemeter (to measure the distance to a certain sound source -lightning, for example-) and a pulsometer (to monitor your heart rate per minute).
Clockwork
A 43 mm watch with a classic look, in which a modern heart beats in the form of the manually wound Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 9908, admirable through the sapphire-glass case bottom. While doing so, note the first for Omega: Geneva Waves finish in Arabic patterns starting from the balance wheel instead of the centre of the movement.
